So you can now share links by either pasting or typing them in, which in turn will be sent as a fully functional link complete with its own preview window. Instagram Direct now also let its users upload images and videos in their original aspect ratios, regardless of whether they're landscape or portrait. This seemingly insignificant feature has the benefit of saving people a lot of time when sharing images, as they no longer have to crop the file prior to sending.
